LIFE PlasPLUS: presentation during “Circular Wallonia Days” in Obourg, Belgium on 17 November 2022
The Walloon based MecaTech Cluster organized “Circular Wallonia Days“, three days of conferences and company visits organized on the theme “Materials and metals in a cross-border economy”, across the Walloon Region, in southern Belgium, from 16 to 18 November 2022. This event was an opportunity to highlight the importance of the circular economy, organize political consultation between Wallonia and its neighboring regions and also share Walloon expertise in this area. Circular Wallonia Days, organized with the support of Minister Willy Borsus and the Government of Wallonia, was part of European Raw Materials Week.
Comet participated in a regional initiative satellite event. A visit of Comet recycling facility was organized on day 1 and a conference day 2. It was the opportunity to present the plastic plant and LIFE PlasPLUS project to stakeholders. In addition to Belgian stakeholders’ associations (Agoria, Febelauto), international stakeholders Volvo and SINTEF also took part to the conference and visits.
